For two years we’ve fed our community out of pop-ups and catering kitchens. We still want a place of our own — and this summer we’re getting there on tour, bringing the cart to markets, bazaars, and street festivals across the city. We’re inviting the people who’ve been eating with us to get in early, one plate at a time.
These aren’t donations — you’re getting in early. Plates and perks redeem once we open our doors, not right away.
Every founder gets the Founder Pin — a real enamel pin to wear, mailed to you or handed over at our next event. It’s your badge as one of the first, and your key at the door.
Good Ol’ Fish Fry has always been a community food project. Backyard parties, pop-ups, private dinners, holiday meals for neighbors who needed one — fine-dining technique on the food we grew up on, served one plate at a time.
We’ve put our own savings on the line to reach for a place of our own in East Harlem. The last stretch — the keys, the kitchen, the first plates out our own door — is the part we want to build with the people who got us here. Become a Founder and you’re not a donor. You’re in early, your name’s on the wall, and your plate is waiting.
